Hungarian drug maker Gedeon Richter expects consolidated revenue, calculated in euros, to stagnate in 2010, CEO Erik Bogsch said on Tuesday, after the company published its preliminary fourth-quarter report.

Hungary had a EUR 375m trade surplus in December, smaller than the EUR 410m surplus in November, the Central Statistics Office said in a first reading published on Tuesday. Exports rose for the first time since September 2008, and import contraction slowed further, both from a low base.

Budapest, February 9, 2010 (MTI-ECONEWS) – Fourth-quarter consolidated net profit of Hungarian drug maker Gedeon Richter slipped 2.7pc to HUF 13.6bn from the same period a year earlier on a big drop in financial income, the company’s IAS report published on Tuesday shows.
